Is it really free?
Yes. No credits, no daily limits, no ads, no upgrade wall. The open beta asks for a first name and email to get in, and that's it. Paid editions for specific industries and teams will come later; the core app stays free.
Which AIs does it work with?
The output is plain text you can paste into an AI that accepts prompts: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, or a local model. Instruction following, context limits and tool access vary. The same prompt does not guarantee the same result; test the stack with the model you actually use.
Do smarter models still benefit from prompts?
They may need less guidance about how to solve a task. Your goal, constraints, audience and required deliverable still need to be clear. OpenAI’s reasoning guidance recommends direct instructions and specific goals; Anthropic’s prompting guidance starts with success criteria and ways to test them. Do you see my prompts?
The topic and composed prompt stay local unless you copy them into an AI or deliberately share them. Optional sync uploads your saved custom lenses and Hotkey standing orders under a private code. Beta signup, basic pageview metadata, error reports and feedback are separate; see the privacy section above.
What is a Hotkey?
Your own button: a saved stack of cards plus your standing orders, like "always show a diff before writing" or "never touch production." Tap it, add a topic, copy. Hotkeys save locally, sync across devices with a private code, export as a backup, and can be reviewed and imported by a teammate from one link.
Can I share my Hotkeys and lenses with other people?
Yes, and it's one link. Press Share in the app and it copies a link that carries every Hotkey and every custom lens you've written. Anyone who opens it can review and accept those instructions in their browser. Matching names may replace existing items after confirmation. The beta asks for a name and email; sharing needs no separate sync account. Teams use it to hand a new hire the whole playbook in one message.
Doesn't a longer prompt cost more tokens?
We counted. A single lens is about 500 tokens and a three-card stack about 850, and the composer says each shared rule once no matter how many cards you stack, so the prompt does not grow with repetition. That is a small price next to the alternative: a vague ask, an answer that misses, and three more messages spent telling the model what you actually wanted. An efficient, usable prompt tends to get the better answer on the first reply, which is faster, and over weeks of use it saves far more tokens than it spends. The token estimate is shown under the preview before you copy, so you can see the size of what you are sending.
How is this different from just writing a good prompt?
You can write a good prompt. MyPromptPro helps you reuse the structure and preferences you would otherwise type again: choose a framework, save your own rules and inspect the result. The numbered steps support less autonomous models; clear outcomes let more capable models choose an effective approach.
